Program Overview

Turning Communities into Startup Ecosystems
Community Taskers is not a volunteer program or a part-time job board.
It is a community-based entrepreneurial platform that turns local talent into local businesses.

Each participating community launches with a fully branded Community Taskers website and mobile app. Within this platform, students ages 16+ build and operate real service startups that families can book easily and securely. By embedding entrepreneurship directly into the community, Taskers transforms neighborhoods into living business incubators, where students serve real clients, generate real revenue, and develop real entrepreneurial skillsets.

A Turnkey Platform and Training Model
Community Taskers combines technology, training, and local presence into a single, turnkey system.

Each community launch includes a small local Taskers office where students can collaborate, plan, and refine their operations. Students participate in bi-weekly Operations Workshops focused on scheduling, logistics, customer service, and execution. Strategy Workshops introduce marketing fundamentals and financial analytics, helping students understand demand, track performance, and manage profitability.

This structured support ensures every student-led startup operates at a professional standard—while still allowing students to own decisions, solve problems, and grow their businesses independently.

Meeting Real Community Needs
Community Taskers startups are built around services families actually need.

Students launch and operate businesses such as tutoring, car washing and detailing, dog walking, barbering and cosmetology services, childcare support, music lessons, event staffing, and more. Because each community has its own branded platform, services are shaped by local demand rather than a one-size-fits-all model.

Families gain reliable, trusted services from students they know—and payments stay local instead of flowing to national gig platforms.

Learning, Earning, and Keeping It Local
Community Taskers is designed to teach responsibility through ownership.

Students operate as independent contractors, retain the majority of revenue generated, and receive weekly payouts through the platform. Vocational students may earn accredited hours toward state licensing, where applicable, and participate in scholarship or incentive programs tied to performance and growth.

This model reinforces financial literacy, accountability, and professional communication. It also builds community pride: families know they are directly investing in local students, strengthening the local economy while helping young entrepreneurs gain confidence and experience.
