Mission and Vision

Why this matters

Across the country, young people are leaving high school without the real-world experience or financial literacy needed to thrive. The Taskers model closes this gap by teaching students to launch, operate, and grow local service StartUps—from tutoring, car washing, and dog-walking to salon and barbering services. By providing both a platform and a curriculum, Taskers gives every student—regardless of background—a chance to build practical skills, earn real income, and develop a sense of purpose rooted in serving their community.

Our guiding values

Entrepreneurship for all.
We believe entrepreneurship education should be accessible to every student. The Taskers Foundation ensures communities can participate regardless of financial resources by covering first-year licensing and launch costs.

Community-centric from day one.
Students “learn and earn” while families keep their spending local. Dollars that would otherwise flow to large gig-economy platforms stay within the community and fuel student opportunity.

Leadership & accountability.
We prioritize student leadership, financial literacy, and ethical business practices. Taskers trusts young people to deliver professional-quality services—and rewards them for reliability, initiative, and customer satisfaction.

Equity & opportunity.
Our model ensures that students in every type of community—not only those with strong school budgets—gain access to valuable workforce skills and entrepreneurship pathways.

Vision for the future

We envision a future where every community becomes a launchpad for student-led innovation and local economic growth. Taskers creates measurable social impact and real economic uplift by turning students into earners, problem solvers, and entrepreneurs.

Our goal is to scale this model nationally by partnering with donors, corporate social-impact teams, community foundations, and municipalities. Each funded community helps seed the next—creating a ripple effect of opportunity across the country.

Taskers is intentionally generational. As seniors graduate, GM and AGM roles pass down to rising students, expanding leadership opportunities and embedding entrepreneurial culture in the community year after year.

Measuring Taskers impact

High School Taskers (a Public Benefit LLC) and The Taskers Foundation measure and report on student outcomes quarterly.

The Metrics That Count:

  • Total number of students participating in Taskers programs

  • Student earnings

  • Accredited vocational hours earned

  • Monetary value of those accredited hours

  • Scholarships awarded

  • Number of Taskers Workshops conducted

  • Total student participation in Workshops

  • Community-level economic and social impact indicators

These KPIs ensure continuous learning, transparency, and long-term accountability.
