WHAT IS COMMUNITY TASKERS?

A Community-Based Startup Platform,
Powered by Students
Community Taskers transforms local high school talent into local businesses.
Students don’t just work jobs, they are taught to launch and run real startups.
Families don’t hire strangers, they book trusted services from students in their own community.
Communities don’t lose dollars to national gig apps, they keep opportunity local.
Community Taskers operates as a
structured, community-based startup ecosystem where every student business is visible, supported, and designed to succeed.
Built for Communities. Designed for Students. Trusted by Families.
1. Community Launch
Taskers launches a custom-branded website and mobile app for each participating community.
2. Student Applications
Students ages 16+ apply for leadership or associate roles in one of Taskers' startups. Students applying for Leadership roles must have some experience in the service and a keen interest in Entrepreneurship.
3. Leadership Team For Each Startup - Let The Fun Begin
Once a Leadership Team and Associates are in place for a startup, Taskers works with that team to strategize pricing, marketing, responsibilities of each Team Member, put the finishing touches on the Startups' website, and then launch Social Media campaigns announcing the launch of their Startup to all the families in the Community.
4. Families Book Services
Parents create accounts, browse available student-run startups, schedule services, and pay securely through the platform.
5. Always "Front of the Line"
Unlike the national gig apps where Tutors, Car Washers, Dog Walkers, etc. compete against each other for visibility, Taskers Startups have "Exclusivity" in their Service offering. Each Startup Team is Always Front of the Line when a family logs in
6. Students Operate & Earn
Students manage schedules, communicate with clients, perform services, and earn weekly income—all while building real businesses.
7. Workshops & Growth
Bi-weekly entrepreneurial workshops support students in operations, customer service, marketing, and financial literacy.
Community Taskers is not a gig marketplace.
It is a structured local ecosystem built for long-term growth.
